WII BOWLING

Join us on Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM for Wii Bowling. That’s right, bowling right here in the Senior Center. We’ve got a 90″ screen and the best part is NO HEAVY BALLS and NO SPECIAL SHOES. And we’ve got a nice comfy couch to relax on while you wait for your turn! You won’t believe how much fun it is, see you there!

EUCHRE

Put on your lucky shirt and join us for Euchre, every Tuesday and Friday from 12:15 until 2:00 PM. Cost is $1.00

BRIDGE

Stop by on Monday morning for Bridge at 9:00 AM. Cost is $1.00

SING-A-LONG

Enjoy the good ole favorites (standards, pop tunes, & hymns) every Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with Leader Jane Miltenberger!

OPEN ART STUDIO

Fridays at 9:00 AM we have Open Art Studio. No Instructor, each artist works on their own project, brings their own materials, and enjoys the companionship while they create.

BIRTHDAY PARTY

The last Friday of each month (excluding holidays) we celebrate all the great Seniors who were born in that month. Call for a reservation for the 11:00 lunch!

DOMINOES

Mondays (officially) at 9:00 AM but most mornings. Occasionally it resumes in the afternoon.

BEST YEARS SINGERS

The Best Years Singers perform at local nursing homes, churches, and clubs. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 3:30 PM, March through May and are directed by Carolyn Williams.

BINGO

That’s right, Bingo! One of our most popular activities, we play on Mondays and Thursdays at 12:30 PM as well as the first Friday of each month at 9:00 AM.

(Bad weather or unforeseen circumstances could cause an adjustment in the months and their books.)
We borrow the books through Marion Public Library’s Interlibrary Loan (with the great help of Shirley Mooney).  You have a month to read the book and then return to the library. We have some great discussions and read some great books.


It is OK to sit in on a discussion even if you haven’t read the book.

FIRST FRIDAYS

The first Friday of every month kicks off with a free continental breakfast at 8:30 AM which is followed by Bingo (cost- $1.00) at 9:00!

We could always use some help here at the Senior Center, both money and time seem to be the main areas.
